I started gathering information after stumbling across a remarkable amount of information compiled by Jurjen Hoekstra, concerning his grandparents' (Jeltje Baron-Postma & Jurjen Baron) involvement in the life of Leni De Beer, a Jew in hiding in the Netherlands during the German occupation of the second world war.
According to Jurjen Hoekstra, much of the information comes from a diary of Klaas Baron, who was a cousin to Geert Greydanus' wife, Johanna Pebesma.
